The 2015 VMBS Scholarship Awards Ceremony

Victoria Mutual Family Members and friends honoured the awardees of this year’s VMBS Head Start Scholarships and Bursaries at our annual Scholarship Awards, held at the Knutsford Court Hotel on September 11. For 29 years we’ve been devoted to empowering and encouraging students at all levels to excel in their studies.

Congratulations to all 50 recipients of this year’s scholarships and bursaries. We are proud to be part of your journey.

Taville Henry, second place winner in the 6-10 year solo category of the 2015 Jamaica Children Gospel Song Competition energized us with a medley of songs, including his  rendition of the Chronixx song ‘They Don’t Know’.

An inspiring interview with one of the 2015 Special Bursary Awardees, Daniel Santos.

An excellent education can be, for many, an important aspect of becoming financially independent, it is a foundation on which you can build your life. Victoria Mutual will continue to play our part in supporting Jamaica’s students as we have seen first hand the enormous potential of our young people.

You or your family could also benefit from a Head Start Scholarship from VMBS. If you aren’t a Member, join our family. Open a Save-2-Grow account and look out for next year’s application period.
